Academics

To meet the growing demand of technical manpower and view of fiscal constraints at the government level, the IMPS Education Trust decided to supplement the State Government's efforts in setting up new engineering colleges by establishing the IMPS college of Engineering & Technology in 2003.

All the courses, of this institute, have approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and have affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). Our college is a member institution of ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS, WEST BENGAL.

Academic Features:

Consummate lecture sessions, interactive group discussions with individual project assignments form the major areas of the courses. Laboratory-based practical classes, team projects and presentations in related disciplines helps to enhance the knowledge in technical portion and the group discussion, which helps to enhance personal communication skills with leadership qualities. Also appraisal of students' performance on regular basis will be conducted. IMPS College of Engineering and Technology at Malda, extends its tasks to provide not only professional lessons but also helps to develop aptitude, skill and expertise.
